This instrument is used to quickly determine the oil content of wool, chemical
fiber and other fibers. It is suitable for factories, scientific research and
inspection units in wool spinning, chemical fiber, cotton spinning and other
industries, especially for quick determination of oil content control in
technological process.
2.principles and characteristics
This instrument uses solvent extraction method to extract oil from fiber. The
principle is the same as Soxhlets method. Ether or other solvents are used to
extract oil from fiber surface, then the solvent is volatilized, and then the oil
content is determined.
The characteristic of this instrument is that the fiber is mechanically extruded
during extraction, and the solvent is heated and evaporated at the same time,
thus speeding up the extraction process. A pair of parallel tests only need
about one hour to obtain the results.
This instrument refers to similar instruments in Britain, Japan and other
countries in terms of type. The main machine is of all-metal structure and is
firm and durable. The temperature control part adopts advanced technologies
such as large-scale integrated circuit and linear correction, and has correct
temperature control and convenient use.
