CY-MK01 bubble pressure membrane pore size analyzer is a fully automatic intelligent instrument using metal integrated cartridge pipeline and stainless steel combined sample holder, which is a special analytical instrument for the analysis of the maximum pore size, minimum pore size, average pore size, pore size distribution and permeability of filter membranes, diaphragms, fabrics, fibers,ceramics, sintered metals and other materials by gas liquid method, and is mainly used in water filtration, battery separator, seawaterdesalination, biological purification and othe industries.
Operational Principle:
Taking a certain membrane material as an example, the membrane is fully wetted with a liquid that can be wetted with it, and due to the existence of surface tension, the infiltrating liquid will be bound in the pores of the membrane;
When the gas pressure reaches a pressure greater than the surface tension of
the smolting fluid in a certain pore, the soaking solution in the pore will be pushed out by the gas; Since the smaller the pore size, the higher the
pressure generated by the surface tension, so the higher the gas pressure
required to push out the wetting solution; Similarly, it can be seen that the smolting solution in the pore with the largest pore size will be pushed out
first, so that the gas will pass through, and then with the increase of
pressure, the pore size will be pushed out from large to small, and the saping solution in the pore will be pushed out in turn to make the gas pass through
until all the pores are opened, reaching the same air permeability rate as the dry film;
The pressure corresponding to the hole that is opened first is the bubble
point pressure, and the aperture corresponding to the pressure is the maximum pore size; In this process, the pressure and flow are recorded in real time to obtain the pressure-flow curve; The pressure reflects the information of
the pore size, and the flow rate reflects the number of holes of a certain
pore size; Then the pressure-flow curve of the dry membrane is measured, and
the maximum pore size, average pore size, minimum pore size, pore size
distribution, and air permeability of the membrane sample can be calculated according to the corresponding formula.
